This Privacy Policy explains how OutDo Furnishings Private Limited (“OutDo”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this website and the enquiries made through it.

OutDo designs, engineers and manufactures commercial furniture near Pune, India. This website presents our company, our manufacturing capabilities and examples of our projects, and lets businesses and professionals contact us about a project.

2What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through this website, and information you share with us when you contact us about an enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email.

It does not cover websites, apps or services run by others, even where this website links to them. If we go on to work together on a project, the handling of project information may also be addressed in the quotation, proposal, purchase order or agreement for that project.

3Information you give us

When you send an enquiry through a form on this website, we ask for:

  • your name;
  • your mobile (WhatsApp) number;
  • your company (optional);
  • which best describes you, for example architect or interior designer, turnkey contractor, company or institution;
  • what you would like help with, for example a project discussion, a quotation, a factory visit or a review of a BOQ or drawings;
  • any project details you choose to add (optional); and
  • any files you choose to attach (optional).

You may also give us information when you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us.

Please share only what is needed for your enquiry. If you include information about other people, such as a colleague’s contact details or your client’s name, please make sure you are entitled to share it.

4Project documents and files

Many enquiries include project documents such as bills of quantities (BOQs), floor plans and layouts, furniture drawings, reference images, requirement notes and other project or commercial information. Files can be attached in common formats including PDF, DWG, DXF, Excel, JPG and PNG.

We use project documents and project information to:

  • understand your enquiry;
  • review the project’s requirements;
  • carry out a technical and manufacturing assessment;
  • prepare a quotation or proposal;
  • communicate with you about the enquiry; and
  • carry out the business or project discussion you have asked for.

Project documents often contain information that belongs to, or concerns, other people or organisations, such as your client, the building owner or the design team. Please send only documents and information you are authorised to share, and leave out anything that is not needed for the enquiry.

5Information collected automatically

If you arrive at this website through a link that carries campaign details, for example from an advertisement or a message we sent, the website notes those details (such as the campaign name and source) together with the page you first arrived on and the website that referred you. This is kept in your browser’s session storage for the current browsing session only.

When you send an enquiry through a form, these details, the page you sent it from and the button you used are included with your enquiry. This helps us understand which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries.

This website does not itself set cookies, and it does not use analytics or advertising tracking tools.

As with any website, the servers that host it may automatically record technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as part of normal operation and security.

7WhatsApp, phone and email

You can contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email. These services are provided by third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Where this website offers to continue on WhatsApp, WhatsApp opens with a message prepared for you, which may include details you entered in a form. Nothing is sent until you choose to send the message from WhatsApp. Files are not sent automatically; you can attach them in WhatsApp if you wish.

When you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share, along with your email address or phone number.

9How information may be shared

We use information within OutDo for the purposes described in this policy, and access is given to the people who need it, for example our commercial, design, engineering and project teams.

Where needed for those purposes, we may also share information with:

  • service providers who help us run the website, receive enquiries, communicate or operate our business, such as hosting, email and IT providers;
  • people and organisations involved in delivering a project you have asked us to take forward, where this is needed for that project;
  • our professional advisers; and
  • authorities, courts or others where we are required to by law, or where this is needed to protect our rights.

10How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information and project documents for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, for example to respond to your enquiry, for any project that follows, and to meet legal, accounting and record-keeping requirements. How long that is depends on the enquiry and on whether a project follows.

However, no method of sending information over the internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to send through the website, WhatsApp or email.
